Visit India in March and you can combine a tour of Rajasthan's palaces, temples and tigers with the exuberant festivities of Holi, India’s most dazzling celebration (celebrated on 20 March 2019), when streets throughout the country are transformed into a kaleidoscope of colour. March is also a great month for festivals and wildflowers in Bhutan, and it remains a prime time to visit South Africa’s Western and Eastern Cape...

Alternatively, you can embrace the last of winter and head for the crisp clear skies and snow-capped mountains of Bhutan. Paro Tsechu (festival) is held for 5 days beginning on the 10th Day of 2nd Bhutanese lunar month every year and in 2019 it will be 17 - 21 March. The Paro festival is the most popular religious dance festival in Bhutan and is a wonderful way to witness the Bhutanese’s rich culture and history. The Six Senses Bhutan circuit is one of Asia’s most anticipated openings, with 3 lodges ready and open for business by the end of 2018 and the remaining 2 opening Feb 2019. Located in Paro, Thimphu, Punakha, Gangtey and Bumthang – guests will be able to embark on a ‘Six Senses Journey’ between each lodge, exploring Bhutan in style. Each of the Six Senses lodge locations will boast incredible views, in particular the lodge in Punakha which overlooks the Mo Chu River, and Gangtey, which has views of the Phobjika Valley. Guests will have the option to visit all five lodges or a combination, with itineraries designed around the various experiences unique to each location. We are also really excited about the new Bhutan Spirit Sanctuary near Paro, which will provide respite for the mind and body, connecting its guests with the unique Buddhist spirituality of Bhutan.
